Meet The Pros

John DiMarco

Director of Golf

Originally from Willingboro, John attended University of Central Florida following college he worked at Riverton CC for 8 years and then moved on to Laurel Creek CC where he spent 23 seasons. He was selected in 2006 as the 3rd Head Professional in the club’s history. He spent 13 seasons in that position helping form that club into what it is today. He is now looking forward to bringing his wealth of experience, numerous programs and utmost service to Woodcrest members and guests. John has had 3 major accomplishments in his playing career that he is enormously proud of achieving. He qualified for 2 majors. The 1999 US Open at Pinehurst and 2014 US Senior Open at Oak Tree in Edmund, OK. Finally, he captured the 2000 NJ State Open at Rock Spring CC. John resides in the hometown of our club Cherry Hill with his wife Robin.

Steve Sieracki

Director of Instruction

Steve graduated from Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken, NJ and went on to play Division I golf at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Over the last 10 years, he has had the privilege of teaching alongside numerous Golf Digest Top 50 instructors in the United States. Steve was awarded Golf Digest's Best Young Teachers in America Under 40 for four consecutive years (2016-2019), as well as Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in the state of New Jersey (2018-2019). He also received the Youth Player Development Award in the Philadelphia Section (2016) and was recently nominated as Teacher of the Year in the Philadelphia Section.

Steve enjoys teaching players of all ages and abilities. Some of his clientele are top ranked amateurs and accomplished professional golfers playing on mini tours or in the New Jersey and Philadelphia area.  He specializes in developing young golfers into elite players many students go on to play at the college level, and have had the opportunity to receive scholarships. Over the last five years, a number of Steve’s students have won local or national events.

As part of his support for golfers of all ages, he will be bringing Elite Junior Golf Instruction, Operation 36 for Juniors and Ladies, Top 50 Tour Instructors, and Member Clinics as well as individual golf lessons to The Legacy Club at Woodcrest.

Steve’s wife, Jackie, works as an Insurance Underwriter for CHUBB in Philadelphia.  They were married in December of 2017 at Tavistock Country Club and currently reside in Cherry Hill with their newborn son, Sawyer. 

Chris Vanacore

Assistant Golf Profesional

Originally from Northern New Jersey, Chris moved to Marlton, NJ at a young age. After high school he went on to become a Master Mercedes Benz Technician in Cherry Hill. 

At the age of 29 he moved to Myrtle Beach, NC and attended the Golf Academy of America. Graduating there as Valedictorian he came home to find his first position in the industry as an assistant at Little Mill Country Club. Working at Little Mill Country Club for 5 years, he quickly made a name for himself with junior and ladies instruction programs.

Following 3 years as the Head Golf Professional at Medford Lakes Country Club Chris brings his wealth of experience, numerous programs, and utmost service to The Legacy Club Members and guests. He has a passion for playing and the business side of the industry.

Working towards a full PGA Membership, Chris is looking forward to advancing his experience and career here at The Legacy Club at Woodcrest. Chris currently resides in Shamong, NJ with his wife Irene & son Steven.
